Iron

It is an important component of haemoglobin, the substance in red blood cells that carries oxygen from lungs to transport it through our body.

70% of body’s iron is found in R.B.C of blood called haemoglobin and in muscle cells called myoglobin. It helps in metabolic process required for muscle contraction.

Haemoglobin is essential for transferring oxygen in blood from lungs to tissues.

Iron helps our muscle store and use oxygen.

The deficiency of iron leads to weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath, dizziness ,deprives vital organs and body parts of oxygen causing cell death, skin loses its natural colour and hair fall due to lack of haemoglobin.

It increases immunity by keeping diseases at bay and fights cell damaging free radicals due to its antioxidant property.

It helps in tackling depression, anxiety and menopausal symptoms.
