Organic Safflower Oil

Safflower is a plant cultivated from the ancient time, as it was back then used dying of fabric. Now, the safflower oil is mainly cultivated for its seeds, in which you can find safflower seed oil. Safflower oil (or safflower seed oil) contains similar properties to that of the sunflower seed oil. It is colorless, odorless edible essential oil, and a high smoke point. This makes safflower oil the prefect edible oil for high temperature cooking, and baking of food items.

The neural flavor of the oil combines very well with various cuisines, and dishes. There are some healthy fats (fatty acids) that our body needs for the proper functioning of it. Safflower oil contains these fats in high quantity. Monounsaturated, and polyunsaturated fatty acids found in the safflower oil are called good fats, and have been known for their properties to reduce the level of bad cholesterol, and increase good cholesterol in the body. It has been suggested that daily consumption of safflower oil can help to maintain the ideal blood sugar level, blood pressure, and inflammation level in the body.

On the basis of the composition of the percentage of unsaturated fatty acids in it, safflower oil is divided into two categories. From the two different varieties of safflower plants, two different categories of safflower oil are extracted, one rich in monounsaturated fatty acids, whereas, other rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids. High-oleic (monounsaturated) safflower oil is a great cooking oil to fry, stir-fries, deep-frying of vegetables, and other food items. Use this oil for baking as a replacement for normal butter you use for baking.

Now, when it comes to high-linoleic (polyunsaturated) safflower oil, the oil is great for preparation of food items for which nil or very low amount of heat is required. This oil also has wide industrial application, including the making of color dye for fabrics, making of painting colors, etc. Aryan International is a dominant manufacturer, and supplier of organic safflower oil in India, and many other countries.
